Meet Our Pastor

Pastor David Zastrow  was born and raised in Brockport, NY and currently lives in Macedon with his wife of 32 years, Kathleen, and their son, Anthony. Pastor David has seen God’s blessing and faithfulness throughout his life and ministry. David earned his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Theological Seminary (1999). His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies (1997). He has been serving in church ministry for the past 30 years. During his ministry David started two churches, each experiencing significant growth. Between these two churches David baptized 240 people who put their faith in Jesus. In the current church he serves attendance increased by over 500% in less than 5 years, with over 60 people baptized. David has a desire to serve in his community and senses God’s direction in seeking a call to Canal Town Community Church.

Outside of ministry, Pastor David stays active through tennis, pickleball, biking, and skiing. One of his favorite verses is John 3:30 “He must increase while I must decrease.”
